Hanover JVs Beat John Stark 6-0

The Marauder Junior Varsity saw success on their first road trip of the season, beating John Stark 6-0 in a match that featured ample playing time for everyone on the squad.
Alex Pratt led off the scoring, slotting home a penalty after a hand ball in the box.
John Start could only contain scoring juggernaut Rocco Linehan only so long, and the eagle-eyed freshman converted a pass from Alec Murphy for a 2-0 advantage. Grizzled veteran Eli Connolly made it 3-0 following a corner kick, and that score stood at halftime.

The Marauders kept the pressure on in the second half, with Xavier Tchana scoring twice, the first goal assisted by Daniel Slayton, and the second by Lightning linemate Linehan. Peter Benson capped the second half scoring, assisted by hockey amigo Connor Gordon.

The JVs will enjoy a three-day weekend, and resume their toil on the HHS grass field at 4:00 on Tuesday.
